Privacy
Mahjong Daybreak needs no account and sets no cookies. Here is, simply, what is stored and why.
Your games stay on your device
To let you pick up a game where you left it, the site saves a few things in your browser’s local storage:
- today’s daily puzzle in progress (your moves, your time and the help you used);
- your daily results, for your streak and statistics;
- your free-play game in progress;
- whether you chose to hide the timer.
This data is never sent to a server, is not used to track you and is not shared with anyone. You can erase it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.
Sharing your result
The Share button hands a short text (puzzle number, time and weather report) to your device’s own share menu, or copies it to your clipboard. Mahjong Daybreak does not see who you share it with.
The contact form
If you use the contact form, your name (optional), your email address and your message are sent through Formspree so that we can reply to you by email. They are kept only as long as needed to handle your message. Formspree acts as a technical processor: see itsprivacy policy.
No tracking, no advertising
The site uses no audience measurement, no advertising and no third-party cookies, and its fonts are served from mahjongdaybreak.com itself. If this ever changes, this page will be updated first, and you will be asked for your consent wherever the law requires it.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd (Larnaca, Cyprus). Like any web host, Hostinger may keep technical logs, such as IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested, to run the service and keep it secure. See the legal notice for the host’s full details.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct and erase data about you. Since your game data stays on your own device, you can delete it yourself at any time. For any other request, including about a message you sent, use the contact form. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).
